Coffee Greens Storage

This is the cart I use to store vacuum packaged coffee greens. I have it sort of organized by general coffee type. Top small shelf is labels, cleancaf etc. Top greens shelf is various Konas, middle greens shelf is Americas and other Island coffees, bottom shelf is Indonesians and Africans. Cart holds around 60 pounds maximum, currently at 52.22 pounds per spreadsheet. Oh, most of the jars on top are not full of roasted coffee. Just empty with often used labels. Easier than writing new labels each time! The roasted coffees were roasted yesterday morning and evening. The little labels at the top of each jar have the roast date/time and roast temp/time. Those are removable and do get changed...

The vacuum bag of greens is some Panama LaBerlina I'm about to roast. I vacuum seal all my greens in 2-3# bags as soon as I get them. Cut just below the seal, pour out 152gr for a batch, re-vacuum seal for storage.

It's really 152gr in the container, the open bag of greens was leaning on the scale for the picture...

Panama LaBerlina re-vacuum sealed for storage. Note the Sweet Maria's label on the inside of the bag for identification!
I also have "over flow" storage for greens with multiple vac bags. I use three cardboard file drawer boxes. The kind that are just like a file cabinet that pull out for easy access. Over flow storage currently down to 88 pounds:)
